Project Overview
Through this project, I learned to embrace failure as part of the process. What began as a flat, unconvincing surface became an opportunity to experiment with new materials.

Surface Development
The chosen concrete-effect paint produced a flat, uniform grey rather than the textured, architectural surface I had envisioned. Rather than restart, I experimented with joint compound and tonal washes to build variation and concrete-like texture. The “failure” of the first application became an opportunity to test new techniques and discover a more convincing solution.
